About the Huntington's Disease Society of America
The Huntington's Disease Society of America (HDSA) is the only national voluntary health agency in the U.S. dedicated to finding a cure for Huntington's Disease and to improving the lives of people with HD and their families. Over the years, HDSA has evolved into a network of over 30 chapters and eleven Centers of Excellence.

Very simply, HDSA's Mission is to promote and support research to find a cure for HD; To help people and their families affected by the disease and to educate the public and health care professionals about HD.

HDSA is a volunteer based non-profit organization and the only non-profit health organization to be given an A+ rating by the American Institute of Philanthropy in 2002.
